Just received a copy of Wonder Year: A Guide to Long-Term Travel and Worldschooling and it’s not only beautiful, it’s an amazing resource for families wanting to travel. Gosh I wish I had it back in 2007-08 when we hit the road with our three kids.

While moving we’ve come across treasures like this project Nate did after returning. There’s SO much value to be had in travel, and this book can help you get started and be your friend along the way. @wonderyeartravel @annikapowellparadise

Eleven years ago Rebeka left her home and family a

Eleven years ago Rebeka left her home and family and came to live with strangers (our family) for almost a year while she had corrective surgeries on her club feet. We had no idea we’d write a book together, or that she’d come back to the US for a fancy award ceremony in LA and get to do school visits. It’s been such a thrill, and I love to share her heartwarming story of courage and perseverance and JOY with students. Let me know if you’d like me to come visit your school for an author visit!
